Here’s a relatively new blog I’ll be visiting frequently, especially if they continue to post reviews of beers I’m curious about trying. In the meantime, this post debunking numerous beer myths is pretty interesting.
By the way, I can recommend a Croatian beer I recently tried at BevMo, Karlovacko, that had a good flavor due to some strong malts. It also had decent hoppiness and a nice finish (like Bugs Bunny on viagra, I suppose).
You can’t read the Karlovacko site? Trust me, nothing is lost in translation.
Thanks for the link Jim! It’s certainly the plan to keep reviewing interesting beers… feel free to make some suggestions 🙂
You’re welcome! I’m always interested in whatever is available at Trader Joes, including their own private label brands, since I’m in there a lot. If you’re feeling extravagant, reviews of various Belgian ales are always on my want list, as well as the ever-growing plethora of American microbrews.
I’m not a big fan of “odd-flavor-beer,” like the blueberry porters, pumpkin ale or fudge banana swirl or whatever else they seem to be throwing at the wall in hopes of it sticking, but to each his own, I guess.
