Take that, ye realm of snooty elitist eating clubs!

To be fair, I’ve never visited Princeton’s campus, which I hear is beautiful (perhaps only appearing that way since it sits inside New Jersey), and I’ve never met or worked with any Princeton alum. They might be nice people, but they don’t seem to be intersecting with my little world. This only confirms my stereotype of Princeton as an eastern-WASP enclave feeding the corporate boards and country club circles that I’ll never move in, but who knows? Any university that claims Jimmy Stewart as an alum must have something going for it.

What does Brown feed, besides indy film festivals, macrobiotic cooperatives and unemployment lines? I’m not quite sure yet, but at least WE can claim Roger C. Carmel as an alum.

Next week: Cornell, the only Ivy school with a traditional marching band. In other words, they are NO FUN AT ALL.
