Funny, I know next to nothing about college basketball, but using the same methods I use in picking football, I’ve done fairly well with picking games. It’s still early and I probably won’t have enough info on how offenses/defenses are doing by the time I get to Vegas in a couple of weeks, but perhaps if I’m back there in February/March….

Derek Anderson might help the Browns a bit, but that team seems very much in disarray. The Niners are pretty good this year, they’re at home & the Rams have been terrible, so I thought why not?

Anything anywhere in the knee vicinity is now a 15-yard RTP.

Ironically, the “Brady Rule” was enacted to ensure the that League will never again lose the kind of ratings revenue it did last year when Brady went down and casual fans abandoned the telecasts in droves.

Jets then Falcons… that defense better get their crap together, pronto.

Re: the defense –

Here’s who’s gone since Super Bowl XLII:

Tedy Bruschi, Rodney Harrison, Asante Samuel, Richard Seymour, Junior Seau, Mike Vrabel, Ellis Hobbs.

And now Mayo is out 6 – 8 weeks. This is a defense in transition. It’s going to take awhile to gel.

In 16 years of attendence, I have never heard a louder roar than when Watson pulled in the winning touchdown. The place SHOOK.
