Okay, now THAT’S more like it! Even though there’s still some work to do in better identifying the difference between the B+ and B- picks in order to build better parlay sets, this week’s results turned things around from the awfulness of the first two.
The picks I had the most confidence in came through in both college and the pros, but my batting average was better with the B- group than the B+. Then again, if Air Force had covered or if I’d swapped them for a number of other successful picks, I’d be up an additional $250. Bah. That’s where the work remains to be done.
On the plus side: I went 13-9 in the college games, up $100. I went 5-3 in the NFL for a gain of $45, and hit one 4 team parlay for $120.
Season Totals:
College Games 19-26. NFL 8-5. Total money outlay = $665 Gain/loss = +$90
AND the Patriots won! AND the Yankees clinched the division title! AND they’re finally opening that big new health food supermarket near me! AND I scored TEN great books on history, art & cooking this weekend at various yard/rummage sales! Everything’s coming up Wagstaff!
